Bozeman and Belgrade Montana homes sales data for 2011 indicate from January 2011 to October 2011 home sales prices were approximately 5.5% lower than or 94.5% of home list prices, based on approximately 951 sales from 1,686 listings: For example, a home listed for $257,563 sold for $243,436 in 2011.
In review: In January 2009, the national real estate data company, Housing Predictor declared the city of Bozeman, MT, home to Montana State University, RightNow, and a host of other Montana business entities, to be one of the top ten US real estate markets for home appreciation during 2009. By September of 2009 the Bozeman housing market made the “top ten hottest real estate markets in the US.”
From mid-2009, when the Bozeman-Southwest Montana homes market hit its lowest point, to late 2010, southwest Montana realty prices had been trending upward ever so slightly: a review of Bozeman real estate prices, 2006 through 2010, indicated prices for town-homes, condos, and residential home sales continued slowly climbing but, as indicated above, 2011 sales data for homes, condos, and town-homes indicates sales prices dropped during the first three-quarters of 2011, indicating apparently southwest Montana real estate home prices were a bit high in 2011.
